I hope everyone has had great time playing Dale of Merchants 3. We've been busy working on our next game, Lands of Galzyr, for over two years now, and it's finally time to launch its crowdfunding campaign!
Delve into an open and persistent world
Lands of Galzyr takes place in the same charming world of animalfolks as my previous games. You'll even have a chance to encounter some familiar faces from Dale of Merchants!
In the game, you are an adventurer seeking fame and excitement in Galzyr – a region known for the historic strife between three city-states and their former motherland and the thrill-seeking nature of its colourful inhabitants.

I have a tradition of ending my Kickstarter projects with a campaign look back and sharing a few interesting facts about the project. I also have news to share about one of our older games and the next one up on the horizon!

Embark on a brand new adventure!
Our next release will be Lands of Galzyr, a story-driven adventure game where you explore a lively, open, and adventure-filled world. Like our other games, Lands of Galzyr is also set in the exciting world of Daimyria.

Shipping and status update

This update concerns mostly about the delay of a handful of orders to the US with playmats.
Next time, I will include a nice infographic about the backer questionnaire from the previous project update as promised.
US + Canada shipping update
Because of a shipping mistake, the US warehouse received too few playmats of certain designs. Replacements were shipped from Europe last December but it will still take up to 2 months for the playmats to arrive in the US. This is the combined result of the global pandemic and new import processings at the US border.
If you’re one of the backers waiting for this replacement shipment, there are two ways to get your games faster. We can swap the missing mats to playmat designs in stock or send the games now and mats later separately. With the latter option, I would have to ask you to pay for the additional shipping. If you want either of these, please send me an email [email protected] specifying which option you’d prefer.
If you’re fine waiting, you don’t have to do anything. Quartermaster Logistics will send out your order as soon as the mats arrive.
Join the community
I’ve introduced our friendly Discord server on a previous update but I’ll mention it one more time. If you have any questions about specific card interactions or anything else regarding our games, this is the best place to get answers within minutes! People also like to simply chat about their newest board game experiences among other things there.

Shipping – United States and Canada
Quartermaster Logistics has fulfilled most pledges to the United States and Canada. A handful of orders with playmats have been delayed. This was caused by a shipping mistake done by the playmat factory. A playmat replenishment shipment is on its way to Quartermaster and they will fulfil the rest of the orders as soon as it arrives (estimated arrival by the end of April).
Shipping – Australia and New Zealand
Aetherworks has fulfilled all pledges to Australia and New Zealand.
Shipping – Finland
Snowdale Design has fulfilled all pledges to Finland.
Shipping – Rest of the world (including Europe)
Happyshops has fulfilled all pledges to Europe and also the rest of the world.

Nearly all games have been delivered to the backers outside of a few orders to US, CA, and Oceania. More on that below, under shipping and fulfilment.
In other news, we’ve been extremely busy creating the next game set in the same world of animalfolks, Daimyria. I’ve also made a small questionnaire about this campaign.
Lands of Galzyr
Those of you who have been following our studio closely, might know about our next game, Lands of Galzyr. It is an adventure board game where players are cunning and ambitious adventurers exploring the lands and taking on challenging quests. The players’ actions have long-lasting consequences in the evolving and persistent game world. Their decisions affect not only the current game, but the following games as well.

I’d highly appreciate it if you could answer this small questionnaire about Dale of Merchants 3 and the campaign. Answering shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes and gives us valuable feedback for future projects. If your game arrives damaged for any reason, or some components are missing, send me an email at [email protected]. Regarding damage, please include photos of both the damage and the shipping box if possible.

Aetherworks fulfils the pledges in Australia and New Zealand. Games are scheduled to arrive at their warehouse late December. Australian and New Zealander backers should receive their games by the end of January.

Happyshops fulfils the pledges in Europe and also the rest of the world. Fulfilment is currently underway. The final orders should be fulfilled next week. European backers should receive their games by the end of November or early December and everyone else during December.
